At the sensitization programme on Malaria prevention organized by Africare, through the Power Forward Programme at Government Day Secondary School, Wuse Zone 3, in Abuja, the World Health Organization (WHO),said that the high prevalence of malaria in the country was hampering the Nigeria economy in various dimensions including the loss of about N132billion annually to malaria related projects.
