The president of Soroptomist International, Enugu chapter, Dr. Anthonia Ekwo has condemned the increasing rate of sexual harassment of young girls and violence against women in Enugu State. She made the observation while speaking to the NEWs Agency Of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Thursday, 24/9/15. She said that her association is focused on the the welfare of women and the girl-child; it operates an adult literacy centre in Enugu, offers free legal service to women and girls whose rights are infringed upon and also free health services and loan assistance.
She was in company of the National Presient of the association, Mrs, Bona Udebiuwa.
