A new study has found that nearly one in every nine men face the potential risk of a sudden cardiac death before the age of 70. The study further reveals that one in thirty women are also at a risk of abrupt cardiac death. It is believed that sudden cardiac death claims thousands of lives each year and is prevalent in people with no signs or symptoms of cardiovascular disease. “Sudden cardiac death has been very hard to study because most patients had no history of heart problems and werenot being monitored at the time of their death,” said Donald Lloyd-Jones from Northwestern University in the US. The findings further show that sudden cardiac death risk is greater for men than women- with an overall 10.9 per cent lifetime risk among all men at age 45 (roughly one in nine men) and a 2.8 per cent lifetime risk of among all women at age 45 (or about one in 30 women). Men with two or more major risks factors at all ages had even higher lifetime risks for at least 12 percent .

Of course, adding links is just one part of the equation. To be really convincing, one should add links which are hard to negate – e.g. by saying that the link is to a "biased" website. Ideally, the links should be to "horse's mouth" itself (in this case the Q'uran and Hadiths)… if any "counterjihadi" sites are linked to, they should contain solid arguments – backed up by reputable links and references. Only then can we start thinking about winning over large amounts of people to our side of the argument.

I remember reading the book and being very sad at the treatment meted out to the poor woman -locked up in a room for years for something she couldn’t even control!But that book was full of all sorts of cruelties – towards orphans, mad women, the po#t8o&230;rhat I somehow missed the racism in it.

April 15, 2010 at 7:13 pm I laughed at that post, imagining how quickly you had to work. I did final edits on a novella for a friend when she couldn't get the document open. She had been out of town with her sick husband, leaving 2 days to get it done. I felt my eyes crossing at times while reading her galley. Love hearing how you did it.
