Chinese medical team conducts free cataract eye surgeries in Sudan.
In a press briefing at the University Headquarters in Khartoum, Sudan, The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Nillien University Optic Science College,
has announced that a team of Chinese Eye Surgeons which includes, Specialists, Surgeons and other technicians and nurses is current on visit to Sudan within the context of the health protocols between the Sudan and China and is planning over a thousand eye surgeries in Sudan, the Chinese team has already started conducting the operation on August, 1 and that it would be providing both medications and providing equipments to the tune of over 1.6 million Dollars.
The team would conduct an average of 30 operations and will see a minimum of 120 patients a day, covering patients hailing from all corners of the country.
