The latest study which was carried out by the researchers at Plymouth University, National Institute of Health and University of California has revealed the ability of a Vaccine Vector based on a common hypervirus called cytomegalovirus expressing Ebola Virus glycoprotein, to provide protection against Ebola virus.
Hypesvirus-based Vaccine can be made to produce their targeted protein in different times following Vaccination.
This research also increased the production of antibodies against Ebola Virus with no detectable Ebola-Specific Cells and is a step forward not just for Ebola virus Vaccine for use in humans but for the development of such self disseminating vaccine against other infectious and non infectious diseases.
