At a briefing yesterday, the Kaduna state commissioner for Health, Prof. Andrew Nok, disclosed that HIV/AIDS cases in the state had dropped from 9% to 0.2% in the past one year, making it the leading state in Nigeria in the control of the dreaded virus.
He also said that there had been no single case of Lassa fever in the state, after the three persons were treated of the disease last year.
