The permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Akinyinka Oluseyi Esho, has warned the people of the state to be conscious of the existence of fake people parading themselves as medical doctors, especially now that the doctors are on strike.
He therefore implored all to ignore the services rendered by unscrupulous people who use lap-top computer for diagnosis in order to extort money from them.
Still in Osun State, South west Nigeria, a 2-day free medical treatment for the aged 60 and above was organized by the Department of Community Medicine, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Oshogbo recently.
The Permanent Secretary, Hospital Management Board, Engr. Olusegun Aduroje implored all the people concerned to make themselves available for free medical treatment for minor ailment such as cough, malaria and cold during the exercise.
