The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has launched a strategy aimed at tackling the increasing rate of HIV/AIDS pandemic among adolescent and young people of Nigeria.

The Director General of Agency, Prof. John Idoko said that over a third of Nigeria population are young people and quite a proportion of them is HIV positive but unaware of it, adding that it is a clear evidence to develop a strategy that is focused on them. According to him, some of the present services delivered to the adults are not suitable for young people.
