Nigeria: Company Creates Awareness on Sickle Cell Anemia
A construction company, Sujimoto, has joined the fight against sickle cell anemia by sponsoring SCAFLYMPICS, a sporting event aimed at creating awareness for sickle cell anemia,

and the company carried out free blood tests for Abuja residents and sponsored sports competition for sickle cell patients, care givers and members of the public. Speaking at the event, Miss Christycole Popoola, General Manager, Corporate Communications, Sujimoto Construction, said that sponsoring the event was part of the corporate responsibility of the company, and that the company made financial commitment to combat the disease and sponsored some sporting events as part of its awareness programmes.
