As Nigerians joins the rest of the World to mark this year’s International Day to End Obstetric Fistula theme ‘’End Fistula within the generation’’, the United Nation Secretary General, Ban ki Moon, reminded all that no fewer than two million poor marginalized women and girls suffer from Obstetric Fistula globally.
He also said that the persistence of Obstetric Fistula in some countries and regions is ‘’an indication of poor access to quality maternal health services, and called for effort to end the condition within a generation.
