World Heart Day – Rate of Heart Diseases Worries Kogi’s First Lady
Speaking on the occasion of this year’s World Heart Day with the theme, Power Your Life, in Lokoja, theWife of Kogi State governor,

Mrs. Rashida Bello, has described worrisome over the high rate of heart failure and other related diseases in the country, and called on women and people of the state to eat healthy diet and engage in regular exercises to prevent heart-related diseases prevalent in the society, noted that the call was imperative because of the death of over one million people annually from heart related diseases.
She also  said: “It is not enough for the state government to provide health care facilities. It is also of great importance that the people live a healthy life style by eating right and engaging in body building exercise to prevent heart-related diseases and other dangerous ailments.”
She said her project, Kogi Women and Advancement Foundation, KOWYAF, would lend its voice to the works of WHO and other indigenous organisations, to encourage Kogi people to eat and live well.

    Good post. I study one thing more difficult on completely different blogs everyday.
