Kaduna State Government has confirmed the death of a Doctor, a nurse, and a pregnant woman following an outbreak of Lassa fever in the Kaduna state, North west Nigeria..
The State Commissioner for Health, Professor Jonathan Andrew Nok said that the doctor and nurse developed symptoms of Lassa fever shortly after operating on the pregnant woman, who was brought in from another hospital in Kafanchan.
