China hightens quarantine measures against Zika virus.

The China Authorities are boosting quarantine services against Zika virus; those coming into China from affected region would be thoroughly screened.
The General Administrator of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said that entry and exit areas will be well equipped with test-kits for Zika and effective measures  to eliminate mosquitoes in vehicles and containers from the affected region will also be put in place.

Wisconsin (USA) health officials warn about Elizabethkingia outbreak.

The Wisconsin health officials have warned residents of an outbreak Elizabethkingia, a rare blood infection that have affected people in the state.
Authorities of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services said this week that out of a total number of 44 victims since November, eighteen have died
The officials revealed that most of the patients are over 65 years of age and symptoms include shortness of breath, fever, chills and cellulitis.
Laboratory test must be conducted to confirm infection.
