The 2016 vaccination for the prevention of Poliomyelitis in children below five years begins in Littoral Region today, Friday, March 11, 2016.

The campaign will run from March 10-12, 2016.

The Regional Delegate of Public Health, Martin Yamba Beyas, told a press conference in Bonanjo that the campaign is to consolidate the protection of 690,898 children below the age of five years in the region with a hundred percent eradication rate, and over 1,654 agents have been mobilized to carry out the exercise in market places, schools and Health etablishments.
