Two members of a family from Koropara in the Southern region of N’zerekora, roughly 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) Southeast of Guinea’s capital, Conakry have died from Ebola in Guinea.
The two deceased patients were married couples who had both shown Ebola symptoms of vomiting and Diarrhea and the test samples from the patients revealed the presence of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever Virus.
The spokesman for the National Coordination Committe for the fight against Ebola in Guinea, Ibrahim Sylla said that there are three further probable cases, stressing that the authorities were taking appropriate measure to contain the spread of the virus.
