The Chairman of Rotary Foundation’s Nigeria National Polio Plus Foundation, Dr. Abdulrahman Olatinji Funsho, with other major partners including the World Health Organization(WHO), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and UNICEF told journalists in Lagos state, South west Nigeria, that 20,000 ad hoc staff have been recruited to commence the second round of 2016 National Immunization blitz from 19-22, March, 2016 in State; he added that the exercise will also take place in all states of the federation.
He also said that every vaccination team has four people, a consultant, supervisor, the vaccinator and town announcer, there is also a traditional leader that usually goes with the team to ensure that every child is immunized
