The Marketing Manager Nigerian-German Chemical (NGC), Mr. Chris Akinyomi, has called on the Federal Government and relevant regulatory agencies to check the activities of drug fakers; he made this call at a raffle draw organized by the NGC for distributors of its pharmaceutical products in Idumota Lagos, Lagos State.
He also noted that the NGC, maker of Benylin cough syrup, was collaborating with pharmacists and distributors to check drug abuse among consumers. He also said that they are constantly engaging and educating distributors on the nature of the medicines they are selling and their impact on human lives.
The National sale manager, Mr. Chinedu Egwatu, said that the raffle draw was to appreciate distributors and retailers of NGC drugs who have maintained the ideals of the pharmaceutical company in spite of the economic realities in the country.
